Jenny Harris – White 'La Femme Guitare', along with her husband Norman have been avid organisers and participants in a plethora of Live Music Charity Events in Shropshire and Powys since moving to Llanymynech on the Shropshire Welsh Border in February 2017.

This page is a record of some of their activities, raising Funds for  Charity, over the past 5years.

David Clough, retail markets and events manager for Oswestry Town Council, appreciates  Jenny and Norman's  (The Odd bods) performances at charity fund raising events and on market days. They have really helped to create a family friendly atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

Lingen Davies Fundraising

September 5th 2021

Another very enjoyable Sunday afternoon Event for 'Lingen Davies' . Local Musicians , Singers , supporters and Friends joined forces to add to the growing Funds already raised. As ever the time was enjoyed by all.

Brave the Shave at the Railway Tavern!

The Railway Tavern in Oswestry was the venue for the MacMillan Fund Raiser 'Brave the Shave' suggested by Lesley Sincliar whose young daughter has Cancer.

Taking place in October several people had their heads and legs shaved during the early afternoon  followed by a Charity Karaoke.

An Incredible £1,200. was raised and a very generous supporter added a personal donation of £1,000 making a Grand Total of...

£2,200

The 'Odd Bods' Duo supported Ally Beckett, manager of the pub alongside Dave LLoyd her partner, by providing advertising materials and liaising with the MacMIllan Fund Raising Team. The evening finished with Jenny singing a few well known songs, much to the delight of the very 'happy', by this time, audience.

In the picture David Hughes, Treasurer of the Oswestry MacMillan branch, can be seen accepting the cheque. Lesley Sinclair in the green charity T Shirt with Ally Beckett and Dave Lloyd to the left of the picture.,
